Foreign Holiday: Koningsdag

           



           

          Hello guys!! Welcome again to my blog! Well today i wanna tell you about Koningsdag or king's day in The Netherlands, So have you heard about Koningsdag before? If you never heard that before, i advise you to read this till the end! ;)

          Koningsdagen or King's Day (previously Queen's Day) is national holiday in The Netherlands. It celebrate on 27 April (or 26 if 27 is Sunday). It's marks birth or King Willem Alexander of The Netherlands.

          The King's Day was celebrate on 30 April 2017, it was happen after Queen Beatrix abdication and Prince Willem Alexander succeeded her into the throne and become the first King of The Netherlands after 123 years.

           Well to celebrate it, It has main organizer called Oranjecomite or Orange Comittee. The
organisation organize the King's Day almoust everything

The famous works from the Comittee beside the festival is music called Koningslied or King's Song, you can see it below this post.

Well activities in the festival starts from flea market called Vrijmarkt, classical music from Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest  special event, Electronic music, etc.
